How it all started...

Brad and I met on April 26, 1996 on a blind date set up by our friend Raelyn Maxwell. She convinced me that I needed to go out with this single fireman...and after a few months of her chatting him up, I agreed. We decided to meet and go to a Dodger game. It was amazing. We followed up the game by heading to Universal Citywalk...life hasn't been the same since that day!! Brad proposed on Christmas Eve 2000 and we were married on November 3, 2001. We got married at Toluca Lake United Methodist Church, just up the street from my house in Toluca Lake...then the party (reception) happened where it all started, Dodger Stadium!! What fun. Our honeymoon was Hawaiian style and we found a new love of life on the island of Oahu and Maui!!

I'm a wife, mom, and friend...and I never thought that life would bring me all that it has. Of course I have those stressful days with my husband being a firefighter and not being home 24 hours at a time...but when the house is quiet and I have my thoughts to listen to, I know that I'm protected and loved and blessed to have all that I do in my life.

New Years Resolution...

I wish all my family and friends a great New Year! I can't believe that 2011 is just around the corner. I have decided to commit to a few new year resolutions. One of my favorite is that I will actually post to my blog! I love being able to share all the fun things that our family is up to...and I think this year will be a fun one! So enjoy and help me keep my promise to myself!
