Happy Anniversary to us!!

We celebrated 8 years of marriage today! We took the day for us (thanks to Kristen!) and went back to our old stompin' grounds....we went by my old house, the church where we got married, the restaurant where we had our rehearsal dinner, the buildings I used to work at (NBC, El Capitan, and Miracle Mile), shopping at the Grove....and topped off our evening with dinner at one of our FAVORITE restaurants!

Toluca Lake Methodist Church is just up the street from my old house in Toluca Lake. I enjoyed going to church here before we were married, and this is where we were married and where Brody was baptized! Great memories and a beautiful church~

Miceli's is a great restaurant across the street from Universal Studios. We were blessed to have our friends and family join us at our rehearsal dinner the night before we were married....yum!

Brad was pluggin' his nose in fun at The Stinking Rose. Everybody knows that we LOVE garlic and it's more of an air freshner than a "stink" in our opinion!!

Our waiter helped up celebrate our anniverary by bringing us the traditional candlabra, garlic hat and garlic ice cream with chocolate sauce!! Brad was kind enough to sport the garlic hat!

We had the best day....Happy Anniversary to us! We hope to celebrate 80 more together!

Pancake Pajama Picnic at CTK!

Sammi has been working on the letter "P" in class...so her wonderful teacher Mrs. Mulder planned a Pancake Pajama Picnic for the kids! I was lucky enough to make the yummy pancakes and then get to share in another fun moring in Room 4!

And the picnic begins...

Sammi and her buddy Jaci!

Those silly girls...

I ventured out to the playground to watch these crazy kids play! Sammi was pulling her friends around on the Tricycle...here she is pulling Abigail!

Next it was Jaci's turn for a Sammi ride!

Go Sammi...use those muscles!

It's fun to play in your jammies!

Back to class for a bible story by Mrs. Mulder!

Then they got to color pictures from their bible story...

and of course, write their name on the back! I love when Sammi writes her name...too cute!

It's Titan Time!!!

We are a baseball family and we all love going to CSUF baseball games...we were lucky to learn that our friends the Bloomfields love going to college games too! We were all able to enjoy a great, but hot, Sunday afternoon in Fullerton, CA and watch the Titans tromp on the UCSB Gauchos...great day with great friends!

We got their early enough to enjoy some hot dogs for lunch! Father and son enjoying a ball game together...it doesn't get any better!

Sammi and her pink mit just WAITING to catch a foul ball!

The Bloomfield boys (Parker and Mason) with Brody...

Brad was lucky enough to get all the kids to sit with him!

Kristen and I tried to get a shot together...and Sammi joined us for some smiles!

After the game the kids got to run the bases...and they earned a FREE pizza too!

And Sammi is off...run girlfriend!

Sammi learns to ride a "two wheela"...

Sammi has been asking to take the training wheels off her bike for a few weeks now...we didn't think she would be ready being that she just turned 4, but she insisted! Brad took her to Yucaipa Community Park and padded her up...gave her a little push and she was off! She is soooo proud and happy that she rides a "two wheela" now...she wants to scream it from the top of the mountains!! We are very proud of her...

Here is our big girl learning to ride a two wheeler with NO training wheels!!

and off she goes...

She caught on right away according to Daddy!

Sammi was all smiles!

Look at her go...

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to everybody! We are celebrating in Big Bear and I promise that we will post pics of this fantastic day as soon as we get back down the hill...the kids are having a blast! We hunted for eggs and the Easter bunny treated the kids FANTASTICALLY! :)

Brody and Daddy are at the lake fishing from the shore and I'm sure they are enjoying themselves too....they will make it home in time for a Honey Baked Ham and Easter feast!!

Brody and Sammi pose with their Easter goodies!!

Sammi just starting her hunt!

Brody on the hunt for his eggs!

Sammi found an egg!

Brody counting his eggs...the bunny hid 12 for each of them!

Sammi thought one might be hidden down low like the bunny...
The kids smile with their egg collections!

Pappy took a nice family shot from the loft up above!

Sammi got to dig in the snow while Brody was fishing with Daddy...

Her new shovel was from that pesky Easter bunny!

A little smile for us while she was diggin...
